South Baton Rouge April/May 2008
A former mayor of Donaldsonville has proposed a Westbank Expressway around Baton Rouge to begin at Grosse Tete and end at Donaldsonville and the Sunshine Bridge. The Kip Holden administration proposes a toll road instead that begins near Baker, crosses I-12 in Walker and continues south until it connects at I-10 below Sorrento. Which plan do you think will best serve our community? We want to know what you think!

The Central throughway is the biggest East Baton Rouge Parish road project in history. Do you expect that the completion of this throughway will significantly change life as we know it in Central?
